About BAQC
BAQC — Bangladesh Aspiring QA Community — is a volunteer-run community for aspiring and early-career quality engineers. Learn what we stand for, who we serve, and how we work.
Our mission
To be the most welcoming, beginner-friendly, and practically useful community for aspiring quality engineers in Bangladesh. We exist so that no one starting their QA journey has to start it alone.
What we believe
- Curiosity beats credentials. You don’t need a CS degree, certifications, or prior experience to belong here. You just need to want to learn.
- Questions are the work. Every “stupid question” you ask in our community is one fewer person who has to ask it alone tomorrow.
- Practical over theoretical. Our events teach what you’d actually do on a Monday morning at work — not what a textbook says you should do.
- Local first, globally aware. We’re Bangladeshi by design and proud of it. We also learn from the best of the global QA community and bring it home.
Who we serve
- Students considering quality engineering as a career
- Self-taught testers transitioning into QA
- Junior QA engineers looking for peers, mentors, and opportunities
- Experienced engineers who want to give back by mentoring or speaking
How we work
BAQC is 100% volunteer-run and free to participate in. We don’t sell anything, we don’t gatekeep, and we don’t have membership fees. We host meetups and workshops, publish articles written by community members, and maintain this site as a public, open resource.
The site itself is open source — you can read the code and contribute via pull request.
Get involved
The best way to start is to come to an event. Check the events page for what’s next, and say hello when you arrive. If you’d like to help organize, write a blog post, or run a workshop, the contact page has all the ways to reach us.
